Using a design prototype developed for a kindergarten through fourth grade school, Holabird & Root designed three new elementary schools for Wadsworth City Schools: Isham, Valley View + Overlook Elementary Schools.

The existing Valley View and Isham Elementary Schools were replaced with new K-4 schools on the same sites, while the existing Overlook Elementary School was replaced with a new K-4 school on a new site through land acquisition. This allowed the existing Overlook Elementary School to be converted into the Parson Administration Building to serve as the New District Headquarters.

Programmatic elements in each new elementary school include extended learning spaces, library and media space, a gymnasium, and outdoor classrooms.
