NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE DR. MYRON WENTZ CENTER FOR HEALTH SCIENCES & ENGINEERING

North Central College’s Wentz Center for Health Sciences & Engineering is located at 160 East Chicago Avenue, just east of Downtown Naperville, Illinois.

The project supports the College’s Advanced Manufacturing programs, featuring a combination of spaces for high-end manufacturing, metal working + woodworking, an area for simulated manufacturing processes, mock assembly areas, a large classroom for multiple functions, and “huddle space” for collaboration within the manufacturing lab.

Additionally, the facility is designed to support the College’s inaugural Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS), the latest in North Central College’s growing suite of graduate Health Science program offerings.

The interdisciplinary building houses multiple advanced clinical practice programs, which creates various opportunities for inter-professional education. It includes space for problem-based learning; a skills lab to practice fundamental technical skills such as starting IVs and blood draws; high-fidelity and low-fidelity mannequins in a simulated hospital setting; and fully-functional outpatient examination rooms, including cutting-edge 3D anatomy visualization tables.
