Wadsworth Intermediate School is a 5th and 6th grade school for 700 students anchored around adaptable and shared learning environments to support an educational framework based in discovery, creativity, collaboration, and equitable access to resources. The school is strategically sited as the new gateway to a larger educational campus, shared with an existing middle school, high school, and community center. A new 1,000-seat community theatre furthers the district’s mission of simultaneously serving educational and community interests. The project included educational programming, district-wide master planning, multi-site evaluation and selection, community engagement, district levy informational support, design and documentation.
